Mission Statement 

The Metro Private School Conference (“MPSC”) was organized to provide consistent quality competition, offer program exposure and play against like-minded programs and compete for a championship in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area.  MPSC strives to support the academic, spiritual, social, and athletic development in our school’s stellar athletes.  Founded in 2021, the MPSC was formed with the following schools in Maryland: National Christian, Mt. Zion Prep Academy, Arundel Christian,  Springdale Prep,  Rock Creek Christian Academy and Virginia schools: Fairfax Christian Schools, Virginia Academy and Highland School.

Metro Private School Conference offers a new opportunity for DMV Varsity Boys Basketball

Metro Private School Conference Launches Winter 2021-2022 Basketball Season

 

Washington, DC— Today, the Metro Private School Conference (MPSC) announces its formation and inaugural varsity Boys’ basketball season, beginning in November 2021.  Formed in April of 2021, the MPSC was organized to provide consistent, quality competition and offer program exposure.  The goal for the MPSC is an opportunity to play against like-minded programs, compete for a championship, and enhance the notoriety of its conference schools’.  MPSC prides itself in supporting the academic, social, and athletic development of its school's stellar athletes. 

We are excited to have established and up-and-coming programs, from the Washington Metropolitan area as inaugural member schools. 

 

MPSC will provide the following in its’ inaugural season:

  • 14-Game Season, with every team qualifying for a post-season tournament

  • Conference Awards: Player of the Year, Coach of the Year, All-League Selections

  • Conference Social Media Presence:  Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter

  • Conference Website: League Standings, Media Gallery, Team Profiles, Contact Information

  • Conference Photographer and Videographer providing weekly content on social media platforms

  • Player Recognition: Player of the Week, Student-Athlete of the Week, Recruiting Announcements

Upon the successful completion of the 2021-2022 season, MPSC looks forward to the addition of Boys’ Junior Varsity and Girls’ Varsity and Junior Varsity teams.

About Metro Private School Conference: MPSC was founded by the Executive Committee in April of 2021.  The Executive Committee is comprised of the head coaches of each program represented.
